The purpose of our Faith Formation program is to assist parents in their responsibility to educate their children in the Catholic faith by providing formal classroom instruction in the ways of the Catholic faith.
Classes will be held Wednesdays beginning on August 14, 2019, 4:00pm & 6:30pm.

Faith Formation
As Catholics, we are called to continue our education of our faith, and so Confirmation is open to any students that are in the 7th grade or older. Each student preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation is expected to have attended an approved program for at least 2 consecutive years. In addition, preparation also includes the annual Confirmation Retreat, completion of 30 service or ministry hours each year, and weekly attendance at Sunday Mass.
Class Attendance:
Perfect attendance is expected (unless illness or an emergency occurs). Your child’s promotion to the next level will be based on attendance, class work, homework completed, evaluations (as applicable), and the catechist’s recommendation. PLEASE NOTE: Participation in sports or other programs should not take priority over attendance at Religious Education.
Mass Attendance:
Students are required (as are all Catholics) to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass weekly (Saturday evening or Sunday) as well as the Holy Days of Obligation.

If you love children, there are many opportunities to use your gifts and talents through volunteering in our Faith Formation Programs. There is always a need for dedicated volunteers, and there is always a need for you!

Safe Environment
All adults volunteering with programs at Our Lady of Grace must review our Diocesan Safe Environment Policy and complete a background screening as well as Safe Environment training.
